Important notice regarding the coronavirus outbreak:
Due to 3 of our staff having to self isolate, 2 of which on government advice have to remain isolated for the next 12 weeks, along with the unprecedented increase in customers coming to our Shop and Post Office and the need to protect our remaining staff , we have taken the decision to change our opening times with immediate effect until further notice.
This we hope will allow us to continue providing a great service to all our customers during these extraordinary time
Could we please remind all our customers of the following whilst in the shop :
Please keep a safe distance from one another
Please bring and use your own sanitiser where possible
Please do not come to the shop if you are feeling ill, ask someone else to come instead
We have a strict policy of 2 items per product/product group until further notice
We are working vey hard to improve the availability of all our products , our wholesalers are experiencing supply issues with certain goods but this will improve shortly we hope, our local suppliers have been brilliant and are doing their best to meet our requirements for increased volumes , we continue to get daily deliveries of fresh bread, fruit & veg, eggs, our newspaper supplies have been increased from this week too.
We do hope you will support the changes we are making, your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Update: from Monday 30th March the shop will open from 11am on Monday and Thursday to allow for the unloading of deliveries and stocking up, ensuring compliance with government guidelines on social distancing.
Saturday and Sunday: CLOSED
The shop supports many local businesses including Lindsays Bakery bread and rolls, Julian Clarke's sausages and Jen's local handmade cards. A dry cleaning service operates from the store with collections on a Tuesday or Friday.
Credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and contactless payments are all accepted - subject to a minimum spend of £5.
