Barley stores stocks every day essentials including newspapers, freshly baked bread, fruit and veg, cards, stationery, eggs from Bridgefoot Farm, milk and a selection of store cupboard items.

The shop supports many local businesses including Woods Bakery bread and rolls, Braughing sausages and a range of Priors Hall products including sausages, ham, burgers, bacon, Quality and Excellence pies, Bury Lane cakes, Pinkster and Jake's gin and Jen's and Alice Robertson's local handmade cards. A dry cleaning service operates from the store with collections on a Friday.

Credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and contactless payments are all accepted. 

Barley Post Office offers a range of essential services including personal banking, cash & cheque deposits, cash withdrawals (free of charge),  personalised pre-paid multi-currency cards, all for one giftcards, as well as the usual postal services including Special Delivery.
