Discussion Page

As you may have seen, our Discussion Page has been repeatedly attacked by ‘spammers’ and I can, at the moment, find no way to prevent these ‘Spamming Scum’. I am sorry, but I have been forced to delete the discussion page which took a great deal of my time to create. Thank you Spammers!
If you want any points answered, post the question by email to me (email address) and I’ll see what I can do to answer. I will also try to find a way to return the Discussions Page which they CANNOT vandalise!

Feedback

We have received some good 'feedback' about the site already, including a response from Julian Taylor in Lincoln Nebraska who was born in Royston and lived in Barley. Hi Julian, nice to hear from you! If anyone else has a connection with Barley but are 'lost' somewhere round the world, please send us an e-mail to keep in touch! This tells us if our site is effective in connecting Barley to the World (Oh, the megalomania!).

Some Friends of Barley have asked to place an advert on this web site for themselves, their services or their businesses. In principle, we are delighted to accept adverts of interest to Friends of Barley. We will accept, free of charge, information about amenities (e.g., the shop, surgery, societies). That information must arrive to us as an e-mail (so we do not have to re-type it). Please make an initial contact first so that we can consider the principle. Please do NOT send a huge advert including pictures, etc. as it will flood our e-mail service until we have agreed the style of the advert. However, we must make a small charge for adverts that are purely commercial as this site costs the Parish Council time and ratepayer's money!
